School Year: Smooth Start for Everyone

Starting a new year after a holiday break is always exciting and a bit anxious, especially if you are meeting a new group of students who are facing a lot of changes in their school life, like fresh 5th year students. In this session we are going to look at simple steps of how to get started smoothly, and set up clear classroom routines that will make the learning process clear and comfortable for both learners and the teacher. We will discuss ways of establishing classroom routines, preventing and solving common misbehaving issues, creating a positive learning atmosphere, and quickly switching to English.
